GREAT performance, bold design, superb comfort and new technology make up the Ford Ranger line-up. And now it boasts even greater trend-setting style thanks to the launch of the limited edition Ford Ranger Fx4.
The Fx4 is part of the Ford F-Series range of bakkies and is based on the 3,2-litre XLT Double Cab 4x4, but introduces a wide range of improvements.
“The Fx4 offers our valued Ranger customers a vehicle that has been personalised as part of our standard manufacturing process, but introduces a new level of exclusivity and appeal,” said Tracey Delate, general manager of marketing for Ford Motor Company’s sub-Saharan Africa region.
“We supply the strong demand for accessories and custom parts among Ranger customers, while maintaining the exceptional capabilities of the XLT model.”
The unique features of the Fx4 includes attractive black finishes for the radiator grille, fog lamp inserts, exterior mirrors, roof rails, as well as the door and tailgate handles.
The 17-inch alloy wheels come with an attractive black finish.
The same paint is used on the side steps, rear bumper and special Fx4 sports bar in the load bay, which is protected by a fitted bedliner.
The Ranger Fx4 is available in four special colours: Frozen White, Moondust Silver, Sea Grey and Panther Black.
The limited-edition Ranger Fx4 is only available with 4x4 drives with a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox.
The Fx4 furthermore features the latest-generation Sync3 navigation-infotainment system with an eight-inch touchscreen display and a range of voice commands.
