XOLISWA Kraai from Regents Park, Joburg worked for Peak Security from 2010 until 2017, when her contract was terminated. She applied for her provident fund but heard nothing about her claim. Eventually she was so frustrated she came to the SunDefender for help.
WHAT I DID
I spoke to Sindiswa Pharologanyo at the Private Security Sector Provident Fund to investigate.
SOLUTION
A partial claim for an amount of R8 846,88 was paid on 10 April. The full benefit will be payable once the contributions have been updated to include the member’s exit date. Xoliswa later confirmed being paid the full provident fund.
