THE FACTS
TSHEPISO Makgopa from Phalaborwa, Limpopo, said after he was fired he took the matter to the CCMA, where a settlement was signed.
In terms of the agreement, the former employer had to pay him R10 500.
He said the employer paid him a smaller amount. He again complained to the CCMA. Nothing was happening regarding the complaint so he decided to write to SunDefender.
WHAT I DID
I wrote to his employer’s human resources department to inquire about the amount to be paid.
SOLUTION
Tshepiso confirmed that he has now been paid in full in terms of the settlement agreement.
