THE FACTS
Anita Tshele bought an LG washing machine from Russells in Taung, North West in May.
In October, the machine broke down and she reported the problem to the store. They promised to send a technician to fix the machine.
But nothing has happened, despite Anita’s many efforts to contact the store for help.
WHAT I DID
I asked the JD Group to investigate the complaint.
SOLUTION
LG has already authorised a replacement for Anita, who will soon receive the new machine.
They contacted the store’s area manager, who said the customer was told they didn’t have the exact model she bought.
Anita said she wants to view the washing machine before it is delivered to her.
Anita has since told the store she is happy with the way the matter was solved, and is pleased to be getting a new machine.
