MOHALE Malatjie from Tzaneen in Limpopo asked the SunDefender for help regarding his pension fund.
He said he worked as a driver for the City of Joburg from 1986 until May 2006.
He said he wasn’t paid his pension fund money when he resigned.
When he called the HR department, he wasn’t helped.
WHAT I DID
I contacted Joburg City Parks to investigate.
SOLUTION
Philipp Lotter said according to the records they received from the fund, Mohale was paid out in 2006. A second payment was done in 2010 when the fund was closed.
I contacted Mohale, who confirmed he had been paid.
