BLACK Leopards chairman David Thidiela was fined R200 000 by the Premier Soccer League’s disciplinary committee yesterday.

An amount of R150 000 was suspended for two years – in other words, the Lidoda Duvha boss will pay R50 000.

The club was also fined R200 000, which was suspended for two years.

Thidiela was found guilty of two charges of abusing a match official during the club’s National First Division fixture against Royal Eagles FC on 17 December 2016.

Thidiela was also sentenced to a four-match ban, which was also suspended for two years.

Leopards were ordered to pay the costs of the sittings of the Disciplinary Committee, jointly and separately.
