GUSTAVO Paez’s brace sealed the deal for Kaizer Chiefs as they grab their second win of the season beating Maritzburg United 2-0 at Harry Gwala Stadium on Wednesday night.

But Amkhosi Goalkeeper and Captain Itumeleng Khune was again the key member for Chiefs victory which ensured they get seven points out of a possible nine from their last three Absa Premiership games.

Khune won his third man of the match accolade in the matches in a row, he played a vital role when his side defeats Cape Town City 2-0 and he was also the key player when they were held to a 1-1 draw against Bidvest Wits.

Paez scored on both halfs of the match, while Khune aso saved Evans Rusike’s penalty in the dying stages of the match.

Harry Gwala Stadium proved to be a happy hunting ground for Steve Komphela who came here last season and collected all three points against the Team of Choice
This was United’s first defeat of the season.
