Soccer player dies after collapsing on pitch!

CAMEROONIAN and Dinamo Bucharest midfielder Patrick Ekeng has died in hospital, after collapsing on the pitch during a match against Viitorul Constanta last night. 

According to The Guardian, the 26 year old was only on the pitch for seven minutes in the second half substitute when he fell to the floor in the 70th minute. 

The match, televised live in Romania was tied at 3-3. 

Local reports say that Ekeng suffered a heart attack. 

A Statement released  on Dinamo's official Facebook page read: "Dinamo tonight lost footballer Claude Patrick Ekeng forever. On behalf of all of Dinamo, sincere condolences to the bereaved family. God rest his soul."
