CHRISTIANITY is not a religion; it is a family that comprises a Father (God) and His children.
It differs from the religions of the world in this respect. Christianity is not a creed, nor a set of doctrines, nor a body of ethics. Christianity is not a science; not a philosophy nor a theology.
In this article I seek to bring to the attention of the reader that Christianity is a family affair. Our relationship with God depends on this true revelation.
Once we see God as the Father, we will not be afraid to approach Him; to behold Him and to embrace Him.
Faith becomes natural when we relate with God from the Father and His children’s perspective. Ephesians 1:5 reads: “In love marking us out beforehand unto sonship through Jesus Christ unto Himself”.
God marked us out for the position and place of sons in His family.
This family fact reveals the greatest truth, that man is an eternal being.
Man could not have been a son of God and a partaker of His nature unless he was like God, and being like God he would be eternal and in the class of God. This family of God is called the “household of faith” (Galatians 6:10); “household of God” (Ephesians 2:19).
Apostle Paul says in Ephesians 3:14-15, “For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father, from whom every family in Heaven and on Earth is named.”
God is our Father; we are His sons and daughters. We are to experience His love; His nurturing care; His protection and provision.
I urge you to come into this beautiful family of God by faith. Jesus told a Jewish leader that it is possible for a person to be born again.
Unless a man is born again, he cannot enter into this family of the Most High Father-God.
