DEAR Pastor Daniel.
My name is Diane Johns. I would like to share my testimony and hope it will change lives. I was molested as a little girl by someone close to the family.
This caused me to rebel against the world and turn away from God. I remember feeling so hopeless and worthless through my teenage years I even tried to take my life.
Through my silly decisions in my young adult years, I put myself in a dangerous situation where I was again raped by three men.
In 2007, I got married and my husband abused me physically and emotionally. I divorced him and later got married to my current husband.
I was broken and I refused to go
anywhere in public. I felt I was doing the world a favour by not going anywhere. My husband carried me and helped me realise that I am not defined by my past.
He led me to God again. I now believe I am not defined by my past but by what Jesus has done on the cross for me.
Jesus heals and can make you whole again. Accept Jesus and he will restore your life.
PASTOR'S PRAYER FOR SALVATION
IF YOU’D like to accept Jesus as your Lord and saviour, follow me in this prayer.
Dear Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I’m a sinner and that I can’t save myself. I believe in my heart that you died for me on the Cross of Calvary.
I confess that Jesus is Lord, and believe in my heart Christ died for me. I believe that from today, I’m a child of God and my sins are forgiven. Amen.
