Sometimes I feel we miss the point of what being a Christian means. The Bible teaches us many things, but strongly emphasises that there’s nothing greater than faith and love.
In my Christian journey I have learnt that it’s more difficult to please people than it is to please God.
God forgives, while people find it hard to do so.
God is love but people hate easily.
God understands your circumstances but people will judge you without trying to understand what really happened.
That’s why I say to you: you are not God!
Learn to put yourself in someone else’s shoes and you will learn to understand others.
That’s why I choose to please only God. As for the rest, I really don’t care what their opinion of me is. I’ve realised that when you do good, no one will compliment you but when you make a mistake, everyone will talk about it.
