DEATH IS A NIGHTMARE FOR THE LIVING

accreditation

Death often strikes unexpectedly.

It leaves in its wake confused, disoriented, angry, sad, and overwhelmed survivors.

When death occurs from sudden, unexpected events, grief reactions are more severe.

Children become fatherless or motherless, and wives lose husbands.

I’m disturbed by the events that led to Angelina Msiza’s death, the wife of Johannes Mlangeni ,who drowned after the taxi she was travelling in was washed away by floods in Frischgewaagd, Kwaggafontein, Mpumalanga last week.

The sad part is that her husband helplessly watched as the taxi was floating in the water with his wife inside.

I urge authorities, church leaders, social workers and non-governmental organisations to come forward and help Johannes where possible.

The poor man is in a difficult position and he needs counselling. I would like to express my sincere condolences to his family and friends.

I hope he is strong during this difficult time. Even though it’s difficult, may God be with him and his family.
