Corrupt public officials are usually at the heart of most complaints about poor service delivery.
There are some public servants who are not qualified for their position, but have gained valuable experience during their time in government.
Despite their lack of education, they are do their best to fulfil their duties.
However, we must never underestimate the importance of education. Corruption and nepotism in the public sector must be taken seriously.
Residents are tired of poor service delivery.
Government officials must stop hiring their friends and relatives.
Jobs must be given to qualified people who can perform their duties efficiently.
There should be no compromise in ensuring officials possess the skills and qualifications needed for their job.
I have no doubt service delivery will be improved ahead of the 2019 national election.
