DAILY Sun reported last week how Zolani Krwala lay in his bed, waiting for a sangoma’s tokoloshe to come and rub his 4-5 to make it grow.
But the tokoloshe never came, leaving Zolani with his tiny problem and no chance of opening a case with the cops.
But now the sangoma is back, and he has told Zolani the 4-5 no-show was simply due to a few balls-ups!
And, he claimed the tokoloshe sent him WhatsApp messages, giving him perfectly normal explanations for the delay.
First the tokoloshe had to stop over for baby oil to ensure a smooth job, said Mkhulu Basheshe.
“Then, unfortunately his credit card was declined at the till, so he had to get on his broom and go to the bank.
“The tokoloshe was on its way to FNB when the broom broke. He had to then look for wood glue to fix it.
“That’s what caused the whole delay,” said Basheshe, claiming innocence.
But Zolani was not impressed.
The man from Mpindweni Village in Mthatha told Daily Sun he wanted nothing to do with the sangoma or his tokoloshe boy and now only wanted his R2 000 back.
He said he was still haunted by the strange black horse that had appeared in their yard, mocking him and his wife with its huge 4-5.
But Basheshe said Zolani should not have gone to the People’s Paper and the police as this would scare the short boy away for good.
“If Zolani had been patient and stayed away from the media, everything would have gone down as planned.”
Zolani said he was gatvol.
“I went to my local cop shop, where the cops let me take a breathalyser test to see if I was drunk or high on drugs,” he said.
“They then sent me away, saying I didn’t have a case as I gave the sangoma the money voluntarily.”
Constable Ngqiqo Mbelu of the Ngangelizwe cops advised Zolani he couldn’t open a case as there was no written agreement between the two parties.
“I suggested he find a lawyer or go to the Small Claims Court,” Mbelu said.
