SIBAHLE Zwane (9) will probably never need to use a calculator.

A video of Sibahle from Lehae, south of Joburg, spitting out sums like rhymes has gone viral on social media.

He is asked complicated maths questions and answers all of them with ease.

His mum Mbali Zwane said her son has a special gift and is the star of the family.

“Sibahle has been good with numbers since he was four,” she said.

“Even when he’s playing with  friends, he comes up with answers to hard questions.

“His teachers always tell me he’s a maths genius.”

Mbali said if her son had maths books he would be the smartest boy in his school.

“He has no books but he has always written numbers on the wall.

“His interest in maths has always been obvious.”

The boy challenged the SunTeam to ask him a few maths related questions and he answered them without blinking.

Mbali said the child doesn’t do the calculations manually, but sees the numbers in his mind.

Members of the community were also interested in the boy’s intelligence and he is trending on Facebook and WhatsApp groups.

The mum said Sibahle’s uncle was also a genius who aced science.

She said she was hoping for her son to get a scholarship so that he could gain more knowledge
