THIS man is a teacher at a local school and every day of the week he uses a family car to get to work.

But on weekends he also transports goods for customers around Hammanskraal, which is why he needed a bakkie.

Q: What car do you drive?

A: A 1989 Nissan 720.

Q: When did you buy it ?

A: I bought it in 1994

Q: Is it your first car?

A: No, it’s my third.

Q: Why did you choose it in white?

A: I like bright colours and the brightest is white.

Q: Why do you love it?

A: It is a commercial vehicle which means it was built with a tough body to work hard and bring food to the table without me worrying when it’s going to break down.

Q: Did you customise it?

A: Yes, I customised the storage area so it can carry heavier loads all at once.

Q: How far have you travelled?

A: I have been to Mahikeng and Mareetsane in the North West.

Q: Is it your dream car?

A: No, that’s a Toyota Rav4.

Q: Are you licensed to drive?

A: Yes, I got my license a few years ago.

Q: Will you let anyone drive it?

A: Yes, my wife, Itumeleng.

Q: Do you have any traffic fines?

A: No, because I obey the rules of the road.

Q: What do you think about other Mzansi road users?

A: Most drivers are too impatient on the roads and speeding is another cause of big problems.
