Eric Seboko was stabbed to death at his home in Angelo squatter camp.

ERIC Seboko was very good at his job of installing ceilings and this led to him becoming his boss’ favourite employee.

However, some of his colleagues were jealous and last Saturday Eric was stabbed to death at his home in Angelo squatter camp, Ekurhuleni!

The 29-year-old would often be called by the boss to help him and some of his co-workers did not like this.

Shortly after Eric was murdered, the residents went looking for his killer.

They found Johannes Sejeng, originally from Steiloop in Limpopo, and stoned him to death.

His body was taken to the government mortuary, but no one knows how to get in touch with his family.

Eric’s brother Bokang said he was devastated to learn that his brother had been murdered.

“We had been hearing a rumour that Eric’s colleague was not happy that he was getting all the attention at work.

“This is very sad because Eric’s rival never even got the attention he had hoped for because he is also dead,” said Bokang.

He said Eric was the breadwinner and supported the whole family.

“My brother left behind his girlfriend, who is pregnant. We don’t know how we are going to support that child because no one is working,” Bokang said.

Two cases of murder were opened at Boksburg North Police Station.
