WHILE her grandkids were asleep, a thug was chopping gogo Ania Makhubele’s body to pieces in her RDP.
The dismembered body of the gogo (80) was found in her bedroom on Friday morning in a pool of blood. The door was locked.
Neighbour Maria Mathebula (32) found the dead gogo from Songeni Village, outside Thulamahashe in Mpumalanga, early on Friday morning. “I wake up at 5am daily and check on gogo Ania. On Friday, she did not respond. I noticed footprints leading to a broken window and raised the alarm.”
Residents broke down the door and found gogo Ania’s chopped up body.
They immediately called the cops.
Grandkids Maria Mathebula (32) and Fatima Khosa (27) didn’t hear anything. Gogo’s son Albert Mathebula (50) said they live in fear, as they don’t know what the motive was. Nothing was stolen. “We hope cops bring her killer to book,” he said.
Constable Sonile Usinga said a murder case is being investigated.
