ACTRESS-turned-singer Tumi Masemola and beau Mandla Ngcongwane have allegedly been there, done that and got the T-shirt as far as their marriage goes.
And according to insiders, that T-shirt has become so old that it’s now a rag.
The first source said the couple’s love nest was rattled this week following a heated argument at their Wilgeheuwel home in Roodepoort, west of Joburg.
This was allegedly after Mandla accused his wife of finding comfort in the arms of another man.
Speaking to Sunday Sun, Mandla denied the incident, saying: He said the couple was dealing with a matter as a family. “There was no cheating involved, this is currently with the lawyers. Please respect me, my man, instead of tarnishing my name.”
But according to sources, Mandla got so upset he smashed Tumi’s cellphone.
Insisted the second source: “Tumi was so upset that she opened a case of malicious damage to property at the Honeydew Police Station in Randburg. Her laptop was also damaged.”
According to Tumi’s affidavit, which reads, in part: “The complainant reported that on 9 September that her husband took her phone, drove over it and also damaged her laptop.”
Seemingly, in retaliation, Mandla opened a case of fraud against his sweetheart, alleging that she had stolen cash out of his business account.
“On 13 September his personal assistant called him about an amount of R2 230 that had been fraudulently withdrawn from his company account by Black Brain. The accused is Boitumelo Masemola,” read part of Mandla’s affidavit.
Police spokesperson Kay Makhubele confirmed both cases and said police are investigating, saying: ““I can confirm the two cases that they are under investigation. Mandla was arrested and appeared in the Roodepoort Magistrate Court.
"The case of the husband suspect is not yet arrested as it was opened on Wednesday but it is under investigation,” he said.
Tumi was not available for comment and she failed to respond to our SMSes.
