GOSPEL musician Swazi Dlamini is so angry at the arrest of Prophet Shepherd Bushiri she has threatened to withhold her vote.
Swazi, a member of Bushiri’s Enlightened Christian Gathering Church, was shocked when her pastor was arrested for fraud and money laundering on Friday.
She posted on Instagram: “I will not vote in a country that prosecutes Christians. Never again.”
Some of her followers suggested members of the church start a campaign to discourage Christians from voting.
Her manager, Donald Shayi, said: “Swazi supports the prophet because he’s a Christian.
“She did not say the prophet is not guilty.
“But she has decided not to vote if this country continues to prosecute Christians.”
