Reality tv star, Dineo Ranaka had to cover up her weave before taking a photo with the legendary Bra Hugh Masekela.
Bra Hugh is known for refusing to take pictures with women or have weaves or straightened hair.
Some have even called it a “mighty war on weaves”.
He has also reportedly increased his security to keep women who don’t have natural hair away from him.
So in order to take a picture with the icon, Dineo wrapped hers in a blanket.
“I was very happy to wrap my hair in it for a photograph with him! It's a true story ladies - Bra Hugh will not be photographed with any artificial or straightened hair!!” Dineo said on Instagram.
Dineo went to say that she was not offended by this at all.
“Respecting each other's differences and being open to meet one another half way makes life and it's precious moments all the more pleasurable - I refuse to let ego rob me of a moment to smile and be merry!” she said.
