KAYA FM’s breakfast show host, Bob Mabena, and his wife Eucharist Hadebe, welcomed a baby boy on Friday!
The 45-year-old veteran DJ tied the knot last year, to his sweetheart, in a traditional ceremony held in Pimville, Soweto.
A source close to the couple said Eucharist gave birth through a Caesarean section.
Said the source: “I’m happy that finally Bob and Eucharist have received their little one. May God bless them even more.”
Another source said: “Their baby is a clear indication of good things to come from their love, because Eucharist has always stood by Bob even during his dark days.”
Bob has been on radio for over two decades and is one of a few entertainers who have stayed relevant in the ever-changing radio sphere.
He’s also one of the presenters on Mzansi Magic’s Please Call Me.
Bob was not available for comment, but on social networks he posted a picture of himself in the hospital theatre.
Fans congratulated the couple: @Xolani67: “Congrats to you and your family Bra Bob.
@Naledihlatshwayo: May God bless you more. This is another achievement in your life Bobzinto.
@CliveMbonani: All the best my leader of entertainment.
