THE stage is set for 12 beautiful finalists to compete in this year’s Miss South Africa.
The dazzling final will be held at Carnival City in Brakpan, Ekurhuleni on Saturday and will be televised live on M-Net and
Mzansi Magic at 5pm.
The winner will walk away with prizes worth more than R2 million.
The bouquet of prizes makes the pageant one of the richest beauty competitions in the world.
The winner will receive cash, a car, a luxury skiing holiday and products together valued at more than R2 million.
She will also get thousands of rands in cash and study bursaries to award to South Africans she will meet during her reign.
Finalists told Daily Sun they were ready for the experience of a lifetime.
Finalist Felicia Muwayi from Nelspruit, Mpumalanga said Miss South Africa wasn’t just about the glitz and glamour.
“I believe a successful Miss South Africa is one who is willing to get down and get dirty,” she said.
Ntandoyenkosi Kunene from Piet Retief in Mpumalanga said: “I am inspired by the women that the Miss SA brand has
produced.”
Sharon-Rose Khulamo from Tshwane said she would love to be granted the opportunity to share what she has learned.
“I believe I can inspire young men and women not to become victims of circumstances but victors instead,” she said.
