ACTRESS Charity Sehlohole’s “secret” daughter unveiled herself last month.
Ayanda Sehlohole shocked everyone when she proudly disclosed she’s the daughter of the Mzansi actress who now lives in the United Kingdom.
The secret was revealed when Ayanda took to social media to wish her mum a happy birthday.
The gorgeous Ayanda seems to be following in her mum’s footsteps.
She’s venturing into the entertainment industry as a singer in London.
On Charity’s birthday last month, Ayanda posted a sweet message on social media to wish her mum a happy birthday.
A source close to Ayanda said she doesn’t care what people think of her mum as she gave birth to her after all.
“We were all shocked when we found out Charity is her mum, but she’s cool about it and has nothing to hide.
“It’s strange though that Charity hardly ever mentioned her daughter during her prime, but we guess whatever reasons she had for hiding her daughter from the public made sense to her,” the source told Sunday Sun.
Ayanda is believed to have been raised by her dad’s side of her family, but was never kept away from her mum and her family.
Another source said all Charity wanted was privacy and it worked for her.
“Sometimes revealing all about your private life can be stressful as some people can use even your family to destroy you,” said the source.
When the SunTeam called Ayanda to ask why she was kept under wraps for all these years, she said: “I don’t know, but my mum is eligible to give details.”
Charity could not be reached for comment.
