Local rapper AKA is following in girlfriend, Bonang Matheba's footsteps with a magazine cover shoot.
The headline on the cover reads, "AKA shoots from the hip."
"A hip hop, you're welcome. Pinnacle of pop culture! Don't try and argue ..... Thank you!" he wrote on Instagram.
Not only is AKA the first South African musician to feature on the cover of the coveted GQ South Africa magazine, in the last five years, only three South Africans have featured on the GQ South Africa magazine cover making AKA the fourth South African to feature on South Africa's forefront of men's fashion, influence and innovation magazine in half a decade.
The magazine will go on sale on Monday:
