Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Dillon Sheppard is set to make his way to Ireland where he will complete his coaching badges, the Siya crew has learnt.

The 44-year-old will follow in the footsteps of head coach Arthur Zwane, who worked on his UEFA-B License whilst in charge of the club’s DStv Diski side in 2019.
‘Sheppy’ as the former winger is affectionately known, will travel to Ireland where he will study for his UEFA Pro License coaching badge.
The retired winger will be in Europe for close to two weeks to complete a coaching course to earn the world-recognised coaching license.
Sheppard, who is one of the most promising youth coaches in the country, joined Amakhosi back in 2020 under the tutelage of then coach Gavin Hunt.
Despite the exit of the coach a few months later, Sheppard was retained by both Stuart Baxter and Arthur Zwane thereafter.
A number of South African coaches, including Benni McCarthy, Steven Pienaar, and Quinton Fortune currently hold UEFA Pro licenses.
