Chelsea are reportedly in talks to make their 15th signing of the season.
Despite signing more than a whole new starting 11 this season, the Blues have shown no signs of slowing down in the transfer market.
Their hunt for a central midfielder has been well-documented this month as they seemingly look to put the final touches on what has been an expensive January transfer window.
Todd Boehly's side appear to have been priced out of moves for Benfica's Enzo Fernandez and Brighton & Hove Albion star Moises Caicedo.

The London club has seen a number of bids rejected for the aforementioned pair, and have started looking elsewhere for solutions.
With that being said, The Times now reports that Everton's Amadou Onana is being pursued by Chelsea.
The Toffees are believed to be in some serious financial difficulty, and could be open to selling another first-team star to ease their situation, with forward Anthony Gordon understood to be closing in on a move to Newcastle United.
Onana, who joined the Merseysiders ahead of this season, has not not present for training under the team's new management since Frank Lampard was sacked, and is said to be unhappy with Everton's battle for survival from relegation.
