Royal AM chairman and player Andile Mpisane is set to discuss some club matters on season 2 of Kwa Mam'Mkhize.

Celebrity-owned Royal AM could now be thrust into the spotlight, as a recent trailer has revealed the club chairman Andile Mpisane and general manager Richard Makhoba discussing behind-the-scenes football matters on television.

The story

Kwa Mam'Mkhize, a reality show based on the life of AM owner Shauwn Mkhize, makes a season 2 return on television on Thursday, 14 December. Following the success of the first season, the new installment is now set to feature an all-star Royal AM cast, including the club's general manager Makhoba.

This appears to be an interesting element of the show for football lovers, as they will now get a glimpse of some of the behind-the-scenes involving club matters. There have always been question marks around Mpisane's dual role of being a chairman and a player in the Multichoice Diski league.

Perhaps some of those questions will be answered, as the 22-year-old is heard on the show's trailer telling Makhoba: "We need to score goals GM" and in one other instance, Mpisane is heard saying "They must see on the field when I play, if I'm not good enough."

Other appearance-makers expected on the program will be Mpisane's wife Tamia and their two children Miaandy as well as new-born Messiah Shauwn Junior.

Nevertheless, the chairman experienced recurring criticism on social media, as he was also teased about his weight various times this year, which prompted the reserve league star to post more workout and training ground videos at one point, per The Citizen.

It is likely to be interesting to see the work that goes on behind the scenes, not just as a chairman but more importantly as a player.

One would imagine that season 2 of Kwa Mam'Mkhize will put some silly assumptions to bed, like the suggestions that Mpisane picks himself into the starting-11 and so forth.

With the PSL club being just one of his key business interests, the young chairman is also expected to reveal more about his other endeavours, like Royal AM Luxury and Grooming Pamper Lounge as well as Royal AM Entertainment.

Thwihli Thwahla current sits 11th on the Multichoice Diski Challenge, with just four wins in 12 games so far. Last term, it was rather a season to forget for the side, as the ended the 22/23 campaign in 12th-place on the reserve league table.
