With Lebohang 'Cheeseboy' Mokoena recently revealing that former teammate Benson Mhlongo once reported him to then manager Ruud Krol, it has caused a stir on social media. Here's a look!
What's the story
Speaking in a recent interview on the podcast TK Solutions, Cheeseboy opened up about the end of his journey at Orlando Pirates. The now 37-year-old made his professional debut for the Bucs as a seventeen year-old back in the 2003/04 season after being promoted from the club's youth academy.
In the 2008/09 season, tensions between him and then manager Krol came to a head, as the two had a training ground fallout that eventually led Mokoena to leave the club the following campaign and joined Mamelodi Sundowns.

Speaking on the TK Solutions podcast recently, the former Bafana Bafana player spoke of a particular training ground incident that was a defining moment in his fractured relationship with the Dutch tactician.
"We used to fight a lot, me and that coach. I remember the day he dismissed me from training before I left Pirates," Mokoena explained.
"We were doing exercises but I was already frustrated because some of us development graduates like Joseph Makhanya were made to train separately.
"I said 'No this is not on because I know I am better than so and so'...so why is this coach not playing me? Makhanya was my senior so he said things will be fine.
"I started doing the exercises and the coach says 'Hey Mokoena, do it properly!' and I said 'Ok coach' and joined the line again.
"Then he says 'If you don't want to train, then you must go!'. I looked at the rest of guys and tell them 'Look at me and tell me if I'm doing this exercise wrong'
"Eventually, he tells me to leave and I look at him in disbelief. Then I said something in kasi language and I leave. I didn't tell it to his face, I said it while I was walking away. At this point, I am already crying because I don't know if this coach is trying to test my mentality or what but I leave.
"Benson then tells this coach exactly what I said in vernac, 'Mokoena is saying one...two'
"The coach says I will only come back to training after I go to the office to go see Floyd Mbele.
"I tell him 'I wont see Floyd because I wasn't brought here by him. I was signed by the chairman [Irvin Khoza]. The chairman is my dad, so I will only talk to him!'"
Mhlongo's actions on that one fateful training session have now gone down well with some viewers of the podcast, as several individuals slammed the former Bucs skipper for revealing to Krol what Cheeseboy said in vernac.

No wonder Krol was shown the door after winning treble. Now it makes sense. Maybe there were other players that were ill-treated.

In July 2009 when the attacker he moved from Orlando to Chloorkop, he told IOL: "It is sad that as a senior and experienced player, I was not treated with the respect I deserve," Mokoena said of his departure at the time.
"The coach [Krol] sure has his own opinion about having signed better players in my position, but I think I was not given a fair chance. I was treated like a mere trialist and it was frustrating to get paid just for training."
"I'm grateful to the Pirates chairman Irvin Khoza that he agreed to let me go," the Diepskloof-born player added.
