Royal AM owner Shauwn Mkhize has opened up about one of her cringiest moments.

Royal AM president Shauwn Mkhize has revealed she was left cringing after her son Andile Mpisane asked her for a million rands. Here's a look!

The story

The glamorous businesswoman is set to be back with another season of her famous television show Kwa Mam’Mkhize. After a successful season 1,  which earned the AM boss a nomination for Personality of the Year at the 2022 DStv Mzansi Viewers’ Choice Awards - Showmax have now announced that season 2 of the show will start airing on 14 December.

Reflecting on the key moments of season 1, Mkhize was asked by Showmax which moment did she watch back and cringed and her response came as a bit of surprise.

"The moment that I've watched back and made me cringe was when Andile asked me for a million. I think we were brought up being told you can't talk about money.

"I am really scared to talk about money, so that's the moment that really made me cringe."

The first season was hugely successful and won Best Reality Show at the Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards, according to Showmax's official website.

The Thwihli Thwahla head is understandably more more popular in the entertainment space, as she's widely considered an A-list celebrity. She now seems to be carrying similar clout in the football sphere following her takeover of Bloemfontein Celtic and turning it into Royal AM. She was also recently seen in the esteemed company of international RNB songstress Karyn White, where the two looked in great spirit bumping one of the biggest amapiano hits in South Africa, Oscar Mbo's banging track Yes God.

According to IOL, Mkhize is embroiled in a sticky court battle with SARS and she's alleged to owe the taxman a "sum of R12 749 232.62".
