Kaizer Chiefs attacker Tebogo Potsane's seems to be part of a glamorous automotive community thanks to his dazzling ride, which was recently spotted looking pretty alongside other customised cars in Bloemfontein. Here's a look!

The story

South Africa has a been a country that has shown a strong love for the customisation of vehicles. It is therefore no surprise that a professional footballer like Potsane is also into the life of enhancing their car to become daring machine and visual marvel. The Amakhosi forward appears to have spent the long weekend in the Free State after his dazzling VW Polo was seen at an area called Kae Kae Mo Bloem.

His stunning car has been regular feature at some show & shine events, with the popular STATIC.VS.BAGGED Instagram page posting the ride on a few occassions.

Potsane's vehicle has a dropped suspension, which is commonly referred to as stance. There's a lot of debate over whether this is good for any car, as it's been a practice that triggers varying opinions from many people and car experts.

While some may point out that stance cars tend to be badly affected by poor road conditions and speed humps, this is ultimately secondary to the fact that these cars are aesthetically satisfying. Apart from the fact that these vehicles are head turners, they also said to have better handling and stability, meaning that it is harder for them to lose balance when making sharp turns. Moreover, Potsane's Polo is in a better position to drift than any normal model of the VW Polo.

While it may not always be practical for everyday driving, stance cars often have better tire traction, which allows for high-speed turns. It should also be noted that wanting your car to be this way also shows a bit of personality and one can make a few assumptions about Potsane's character given that he has customised his ride in such a way.

Football matters

The 30-year-old has had a mixed start to life in Naturena since he joined the club from Royal AM in July. According to Transfermarkt, the winger has made six appearances in the DStv Premiership so far and has registered two assists in the process.

A recent report by Soccerladuma suggests that the player now has an uncertain future at Chiefs, as he has dropped down the pecking order.

A source told the publication: "For now, we can say Tebogo (Potsane)'s future hangs in the balance. Thereare other players who are doing better than him in that position and that's why his future is apparently uncertain."

With the attacker having penned three-year deal almost six months ago, it's unclear whether his departure would be permanent or a loan move but a second source has told Soccerladuma that Chiefs have Richards Bay star Sanele Barns as a potential replacement.
