With Liverpool legend Michael Owen in South Africa for the duration of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the former England international revealed that he is amazed by the country

Owen was left gushing over Mzansi following his recent visit to one of the country's many wildlife parks. While he is in the country for work purposes, the ex-Manchester United striker certainly has time for leisure as well alongside his colleague and former Bayern Munich midfielder Owen Hargreeves.

Last Thursday, he was also at SuperSport United's training facility Megawatt Park to meet with the club and players, both senior and junior. According to the Pretoria outfit's official website, "Owen mingled with the Matsatsantsa family as he conducted coaching clinics with the Soccer Schools boys and also had a photo session with the boys and parents."

Owen also took a trip to the Nelson Mandela Square, a shopping centre consisdered to be Joburg's finest dining destination, situated in the heart of Sandton.
