While the highly-rated Cape Town Spurs youngster Boitumelo Radiopane is yet to earn his stripes at his parent club Orlando Pirates, he has already done so with adidas. Here's a look!

The story

The talented forward is considered to be among the brightest prospects in the country alongside the likes of Kaizer Chiefs playmaker Mduduzi Shabalala and Cape Town City's Luphumlo 'Kaka' Sifumba. Like most young talents, the 20-year-old burst into the spotlight in the Multichoice Diski Challenge, he topped the scoring charts in the 2021/22 season with a stellar 24 goals in 27 matches for the young Buccaneers.

Many were left slightly disappointed to see the striker leave Pirates at the beginning of the season for an interim spell with Spurs in the second tier. Radiopane now seems to be doing just fine in The Mother City, as his stock continues to rise. Despite having only made 4 appearances in the DStv Premiership, he already boasts a partnership with German sportswear brand adidas - which is a huge feat by any stretch of the mind.

He is often spotted not only rocking newly-released boots but also the freshest fashion drops by the brand, including sneakers like the adidas OZWEEGO and the Forum 84 kicks, among many others. He is also not afraid of dripping in adidas from head to toe.

Radiopane on going out on loan

Following his departure from Orlando earlier this season, Radiopane admitted that he initially wanted to remain in Soweto.

“I wanted to stay at Pirates for the upcoming season but obviously with everything that's happened now I can't but I'll always be grateful for everything the club is doing for me,” said Radiopane said, according to IOL.

“I'm very happy to be working with Mike Makaab, he's a former Pirates coach and an experienced man so it was his decision for me to join Spurs and I'm happy about it.”
