There is no stopping Prophet Shepherd Bushiri from crossing over in style. Not the pandemic or the list criminal charges against him in South Africa.

“This is amazing to have all of you in great anticipation as we have been praying to God and seeking guidance from God towards our 2020 cross over programme,” Major 1 says.

All the way in Malawi, he was addressing his followers on Prophetic Channel as the Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) prepares for their annual crossover. Every year, thousands from in and outside the bothers of the country normally gather at the FNB Stadium for this ‘anointed’ service.

He says God has instructed him to announce that it will be a ‘miracle night’ 2020/21 that will be held at a stadium in his country of birth.

It's business as usual for the Major 1, who illegally left the country with his wife Mary, breaking bail conditions.

The Bushiris and three other co-accused appeared in court October 31 on charges of fraud and money laundering totaling R102 million. Furthermore, it was found that the Bushiri’s were in the country illegally. Following his escape, there were rape charges also brought against him.

On the November 4, The High Court in Pretoria granted the Bushiris bail of R200 000 each. And 10 days later, on November 14, Bushiri made a shocking announcement on his Prophetic Channel that he and his wife have fled South Africa and gone to his home country of Malawi because he did not feel safe in the country.
