IN a bid to help upcoming creators grow their presence and build community faster, Meta has announced that it will begin testing a new offering called Meta Verified.
The Meta Verified Paid-for apps come with pro features and distinguished characteristics to help enhance the user experience.
Mark Zuckerberg said this is a subscription bundle on Instagram and Facebook that includes a verified badge authenticated through a government ID .
Some of the perks in the bundle include proactive account protection, access to account support, and increased visibility and reach.

“Some of the top requests we get from creators are for broader access to verification and account support, in addition to more features to increase visibility and reach. Since last year, we’ve been thinking about how to unlock access to these features through a paid offering,” Meta said in a statement.
The testing stage of Meta Verified has started in Australia and New Zealand to learn what’s most valuable from the innovation.
Meta Verified to the rest of the world soon on a monthly subscription plan for $11.99 (about R219) on the web and $14,99 (about R274) on iOS and Android.
