IN an effort to combat drug-related crime and remove drugs from the streets, members of Lyttelton Police Station's Crime Prevention Unit conducted an intelligence-driven operation on Thursday, 25 May.
According to Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi, the operation resulted in the arrest of two suspects in separate incidents.

"In the first incident, a 25-year-old suspect was arrested after being found in possession of four sachets of crystal meth."Meanwhile, the second suspect was arrested on Station Road. The 31-year-old man was found in possession of a zip lock containing crystal meth," Nevhuhulwi said.
The two suspects are expected to appear in court soon on drug possession charges.
