TWO men were arrested in Upington, Northern Cape on Tuesday, 23 May, for alleged drug trafficking.
Upington Border Police and Upington K9 acted on a tip-off about drug sales at two establishments in Pabalello, Upington.

According to Lieutenant-Colonel Sergio Kock, the information was operationalised and both premises were searched, resulting in the following successes.He said police then recovered tik valued at about R2 400 and arrested the second male suspect.
Both suspects will be charged with drug trafficking and will appear in the Upington Magistrates Court soon.
Acting district police commissioner Brigadier PC Coetzee commended the community for its role in helping to fight crime, adding that the cops will intensify their efforts in the fight against the spread of drugs.
