COPS in Limpopo arrested 10 suspects aged between 20 and 39 for offences ranging from possession of illicit cigarettes to illegal immigrants.
The suspects were arrested during a joint operation on Thursday, 18 May, which was conducted by K9 members from Burgersfort, Masemola, Dennilton and the Flying Squad.
Limpopo police spokesman, Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, said the operation focused on identified hotspots in the Dennilton policing area.
"Six suspects were arrested for illegal immigration, two for possession and dealing in illicit cigarettes, one for illegal gambling and one for dealing in drugs.

"The police seized 721 packets of Remington Gold illicit cigarettes, R5 000 cash, 15 packets of Shasha illicit cigarettes, 83 sachets of nyaope and 20 sachets rock," said Ledwaba.
Ledwaba said the suspects will appear before local magistrates courts soon.
Limpopo Police Commissioner, Lieutenant-General Thembi Hadebe, appreciated the efforts displayed by the police when performing their daily duties.
