CONVICTED Facebook rapist and murderer Thabo Bester has strengthened his legal team.
This was confirmed during his appearance in the Bloemfontein Magistrate Court alongside co-accused on Wednesday, 11 October, when Advocate Peter Matee sought clarification after Loubser overtook him and confirmed to the court that he would represent the man in the dock.
The court case is in connection with his dramatic prisonbreak on Wednesday, 21, February.
Bester has beefed up his legal representatives with Advocate Dali Mpofu, Advocate Zandile Mshololo, Advocate Jan Loubser, as well as Matee.
State prosecutor Amanda Bester announced in court that charges against three G4S employees had been dropped. Bester will stand trial together with Senowe Matsoara, Zolile Sekeleni, Motanyane Masukela, Dr Nandipha Magudumana, Tieho Makhotsa, Teboho Lipholo, Joel Makhetha, and Zimbabwean foreign national Zanda Moyo.

The other accused were charged with fraud, arson, violation of a dead body, assisting a convicted prisoner to escape from custody, among others.
The body was smuggled into Mangaung Correctional Centre and used as a decoy for Bester to escape from prison.
In several appearances, prosecutor Sello Matlhoko said confidently that the state has great evidence against the accused based on the statements of the investigating officers.
