THE controversial Dr Nandipha Magudumana allegedly collapsed in the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 11 October.

Her lawyer, Machini Motloung, told Daily Sun that Magudumana was not feeling well but the police brought her to the court. Motloung described the incident as an injustice suffered by his client.

"I received a call informing me of my client's medical unfitness. I was surprised to hear that she was taken to the court by force," he said.

Motloung said it was not clear why Dr Magudumana was taken to Park Road cop shop.

"I was refused to see my client at Park Road Police Station. I don't know what the motive was," Motloung said.

The case surrounding the escape of Thabo Bester is expected to resume in the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 11 October.
