THE much-anticipated Mayihlome manifesto launch of the ANC is underway at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, KZN.
The governing party had promised to fill up the stadium and even have an overflow.
Party members are slowly arriving while others are already inside the stadium. They're chanting revolutionary songs while waiting for their president to address them.
A young ANC member, Lelethu Mabhoza (25) from Flagstaff Ward 10, said she was excited to have attended the manifesto launch to see and hear what the president of the country Cyril Ramaphosa has to say to them.
"I want the president to create more job opportunities for the youth of the country," she said.

Zandi Mdleko (35) from Glebelands Hostel in Umlazi said she arrived at 7am because she knows that it wasn't going to be easy if she arrived late.
"I still have hope in the ANC and believe that, given another chance, a lot more can be done," she said.

However, Ramaphosa is expected to deliver the manifesto at 11am.
ANC spokeswoman Mahlengi Bhengu-Motsiri said the plan was to have the president speak at midday.
"Everything is in order. People are still arriving we'll have an overflow,” she said.
