He was admitted at Job Shimankana Tabane Hospital for mental observation following his arrest in May 2022 after allegedly stabbing his 53-year-old mother to death and was seen by his twin brother drinking her blood from the stabbed wound on her neck.

It is alleged that Thabang and his mother, Kedisaletse Moswane had an argument after Thabang asked for R10 and Kedisaletse didn't have it.

The mother of six was found dead with numerous stab wounds.

Thabang’s twin brother, Thabo Moswane previously told Daily Sun he found his twin brother drinking blood from the stab wound on his mother’s neck.
