A MOB has allegedly killed a man suspected of being a rapist!

The incident happened at Emfihlweni section in Tembisa, Ekurhuleni on Monday night, 3 April.

Tembisa South police spokeswoman, Constable Kate Selepe, said it's alleged that a complaint was received and a sector attended to the scene of murder at Emfihlweni section along Mbatha street where a man was burnt to death by community members. 

She said police conducted further interview with other people at the scene, and it's alleged that the dead man was the one responsible for the death of the 31-year-old woman who was found murdered at Emfihlweni graveyard during the weekend. The woman was found lying dead on the ground on Saturday, 1 April.

No suspect has been arrested so far and police are still investigating both cases.

Meanwhile, the police have discouraged the residents from taking the law into their own hands.
