WITH the accused in the Tshidiso Ramatlo (18) and Katleho Letseli (25) murder case set to appear in court for the trial to begin, the families of the slain boys believe the law will take its course and justice will prevail.
The 30-year-old teacher from Soweto is accused of killing Ramatlo and Letseli for allegedly stealing VW polo lights.
Tshidiso’s mum, Lillian Ramatlo, spoke to Daily Sun before the case resumed.
“My wish is for the court to revoke bail for the safety of the witnesses.
“The court must do the right thing and favour us so that our children can finally rest in peace. It’s difficult. We've been attending the case for a long time now, and one can hope that the law will favour us," Lillian said.

She said she realised that this was real and that her son was gone forever.
Katleho’s mum, Petunia Didi, told Daily Sun that as the trial begins, justice must prevail.
“The accused must be jailed for killing our sons in that manner. They were killed like dogs, and for that, he must rot in jail,” Petunia added.
Despite delayed justice, the two families still believe the law will take its course.
