Johannes Motshoeneng is missing.

COPS need the community's assistance in locating 42-year-old Johannes Motshoeneng from Kanana in Orkney outside Klerksdorp, North West.

According to the provincial police spokeswoman Captain Afjee Botma, Johannes was last seen on Wednesday, 22 March by his girlfriend when he fetched his ID document from her.

She said he doesn’t have a fixed address because he's currently unemployed.

"She received a call on Wednesday, 29 March, that he was with people at Siri’s tavern in Kanana.

She hasn’t seen him ever since and can’t recall what he was wearing.

"Motshoeneng has black hair and is medium length. He has a very short black beard and a long nose, round chin and brown eyes," cops said.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts should call investigating officer Lieutenant-Constable Loeto of Kanana Detectives on 078 450 4257, 018 476 1115, or should contact their nearest police station.

Anonymous tip-offs can also be communicated via the MySAPS App or alternatively call CrimeStop on 08600 10111.
