THEIR FACES will remain in our memories forever.

The sound of their names will ring in our ears.

THEY ARE MZANSI’S MOST WANTED SUSPECTS!

Sarel Lehlanya Sello, Tshepiso Elliot Radebe, Thabang Radikatara, Tshidiso Moleko and Keletso Rabasotho are the suspects sought for the massacre of 16 people at a tavern in Lahlumlenze, Orlando East, Soweto. have been released by the police

The suspects, who are believed to have fled to neighbouring Lesotho, have been on the run since 10 July when the killings took place.

More than 130 cartridges of AK47 shells were found at the scene that left families grieving, and the country in shock.

Police have released picture of the five men who are wanted for the murders of the 16 people and attempted murder.

Police spokeswoman Colonel Dimakatso Sello said the warrants of arrest for the suspects have been issued, and the police were calling for anyone who knows their whereabouts to come forward.

The release of the photos of the suspects has restored the hope of the affected family members in the police.

Thabang Radikatara

They had previously said that they have no hope that the police will make any inroads in the case.

Tshepiso Elliot Radebe

Family member Anele Thobela told Daily Sun: that they will get to see the faces of the suspects they have hope that arrest could follow. “That’s what we wanted. We wanted to know who was behind this.”

Tshidiso Moleko

Anele said she believes that most families will find closure if they could get answers as to why their loved ones were killed.

“When they are caught, then we will ask them why they killed our family members like that, and who sent them?” she said.

Nosiyabulela Jama (40) said violence has decreased in the area due to the police presence but over the weekends, gunshots could still be heard.

She said most families are still struggling to come to terms with the deaths of their loved ones.

Gauteng Premier David Makhura previously revealed that the suspects in this case had fled to one of the neighbouring countries.

He said police were working with relevant authorities to bring the suspects to book.

A total of 35 people were killed in July in Gauteng, and there have only been arrests in Mamelodi, Alexandra and Katlehong.

Police are also searching for the suspects from Thembelihle in Lenasia, where shots were randomly fired at residents.

Colonel Sello said in a statement: “Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of these suspects is requested to contact Colonel Friccah Masilela on 082 822 7270, or CrimeStop on 08600 10111.” “All information received will be treated with strictest confidence.”
