RESIDENTS of Ndlovu Stand in Klipgat, North West couldn't believe what they saw on Saturday morning, 16 March.
They woke up to find a neighbour lying dead.
Sangoma Matshidiso Hlabangwane (41) was found dead in the bushes with foam coming out of her mouth.
According to police spokeswoman Colonel Adele Myburgh, Matshidiso's body was found at about 7.30am.
“Police are investigating a case of murder,” Myburg said.
She said from the information they received, Matshidiso's body was found by a passer-by.
“The passer-by saw her body lying on a foot path. It's suspected the body was dumped there. She might have been killed somewhere else,” she said.
Myburgh said that a postmortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
“No arrests have been made yet. Anyone with information that can help the police in their investigation is asked to contact the investigating officer at Klipgat Police Station, Sergeant Norra Mokgadingoane, on 082 661 0510,” Myburg said.

When Daily Sun visited the woman’s home, her family said they were shocked and frustrated by her death. They said they didn’t know what happened and felt it wasn’t yet time to talk to the media.
“We heard she was at a nearby tavern. We don’t know what happened, so we'll have to talk to her friends and those who were at the tavern to find out what really happened,” said a family member.
The family said it seems those who killed Matshidiso fought with her.
“The beads on both her wrists were broken,” they said.
Daily Sun also spoke to the people near the scene and a man said he saw a blue car parked near the bushes on Friday night, 15 March.
“I saw the car and suspected something was going on, but I didn’t really take it seriously because sometimes people park their cars in the bushes to do their things,” he said.
