MPUMALANGA ANC treasurer, Mandla Msibi has been slapped with a two-year suspension.
This comes after he violated the party's constitution.
Provincial Secretary, Muzi Chirwa said Msibi's actions were not in line with the party's principles and that similar offenses during his suspension period would not be tolerated.
In January, the Provincial Working Committee (PWC) temporarily suspended Msibi's membership, pending disciplinary proceedings.

In a letter dated 19 January, the PWC said it noted Msibi’s behaviour at the organisation's rally held in Pienaar in which he addressed ANC members and the community and demanded that President Cyril Ramaphosa come and address them and also convene a special meeting to decide on the Nkosi City project prior to the January 8 statement.
The PWC said Msibi contravened the party's constitution by engaging in disruptive conduct and sabotaging the ANC's January 8 celebration programmes which were held in Mpumalanga.
In 2021, Msibi stepped aside following murder and attempted murder allegations.
Last week Tuesday, Msibi’s supporters and sympathisers marched to the provincial head office demanding that the leadership of the province release the verdict.
The memorandum had to be sent to the provincial secretary, via WhatsApp after he promised to deploy a provincial committee member to attend to them however, they did not show up.
Police have been deployed outside the provincial ANC offices.
