THE Jukulyn New Year's mass murder case has taken yet another dramatic turn as the Soshanguve Magistrates Court has separated the next court appearances of the three-remaining accused.
Out of the four families of the victims, only two made it to court after learning that their case was going to be heard on Thursday, 18 April, instead of Friday, 19 April.
The cases had to sit three times before any dates could be confirmed by the prosecutor and defence attorney.
The two families stormed into the courtroom five minutes before the matter of accused three, George Nyathi, and accused four, Sizwe Msibi, was postponed to Friday, 3 May.
On the other hand, accused number one, Sipho Kgomo, will make his second bail application.
The mother of 14-year-old Vuyolwethu Zimele, Nandipha Ziwele told Daily Sun she had to rush back from work to inform other families of the date changes.

She said they were seeking clarification from Gauteng Premier Panyasa Lesufi, who visited the families on 3 January, following the arrest of the perpetrators.
According to Nandipha, Lesufi assured the families he would make sure all of the accused remained in custody.
She emphasised that their safety has been compromised.
"We want him to explain why this court case is dragging and why the suspects got bail because it seems it's the lawyers' strategy to release them one-by-one," said Nandipha.
Koketso Molakapatlo, the sister of the slain Phomolong Molakapatlo (28), had rescheduled her medical appointment to come to court.
She claimed after Tshepo "Stompi" Mosimeni, the second accused, was freed on Friday, 15 March, her condition worsened.
Phomolong said she had given up on the case because the family had been severely let down by the legal system.
She said every court appearance was a postponement because of pending investigation.
Until the case is brought before court again, all of the suspects remain in custody.
