THE families of the Jukulyn New Year's mass murder victims were shocked to see the court case resume in the Soshanguve Magistrates Court on Thursday, 18 April.
This after one of the four accused in the case, Tshepo "Stompi" Mosimeni, was granted free bail by the same court on Friday, 15 March, sparking outrage, distress, and fear.
He was charged with being an accomplice in the premeditated murder as an alleged member of a criminal syndicate.
Surprisingly, even Magistrate Swart seemed startled that the case was being heard in court.

Only the three accused, Sipho Kgomo, George Nyathi, and Sizwe Msibi, who are still in custody, appeared in court after their case was postponed on Friday, 15 March pending further investigations.
There were just suspicious movements in court; thus far, the case has been set aside twice while they wait for their attorney, Stephens Magoro, to return.
Nandipha Ziwele, the mother of the 14-year-old Vuyolwethu Zimele, who was killed alongside Constables Mpho Kgobotlo (30), Phomolong Molakapatlo (28) and Thandi Dlamini (34), told Daily Sun that she only saw on the news that the matter was indeed appearing but didn't expect it to.
"During the last court case, it was confirmed that the case would appear on Friday, 19 April," she said.
She said she'll notify the other families and rush to court quickly.
The courtroom is almost empty.
This is a developing story.
